Kimilili Authorities and Bodaboda Leaders Unite to Keep Students Off Motorcycles During Holiday Season

In Kimilili Constituency, local administration leaders have pledged to collaborate with bodaboda operators to prevent school-going youths from engaging in motorcycle operations during the ongoing long holiday. Chief Johnson Kimasiri, a leader in the area, expressed the joint commitment of both the administration and bodaboda sector to ensure that no student participates in the bodaboda business this holiday season.

This initiative, according to Chief Kimasiri, aims to reduce the risks associated with young, inexperienced riders on the roads, which have led to an uptick in road accidents in previous holiday periods. By involving bodaboda leaders, they hope to enforce stricter controls and enhance road safety in the area.

The authorities believe that keeping students away from motorcycles will not only protect their safety but also instill a sense of responsibility in them, ensuring they return to school ready to focus on their studies.
